Individualized Counseling for Children, Adolescents & Families

Client Resources

As a licensee of The Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors & Therapists, I will abide by its Code of Ethics. To maintain my license I am required to participate in annual continuing education and professional development. In this coursework, I keep current in subject matter that is relevant to my practice. At times, I may substitute professional supervision with another licensed therapist who has been approved in the role of supervisor by the State of Oregon.

All information you or your child shares in a counseling session remains confidential unless:

  • You have signed a release form for disclosure.
  • You or someone else is in danger or threat to you, self, or another.
  • Physical abuse of a child or elderly person is involved.
  • If subpoenaed by a court of law.

My fee for service is $140.00 for a 60 minute session. This fee applies to every session, whether I am seeing a parent, parent(s) and child, or the family. The first appointment I will meet with only the parent(s) to do an intake and assessment to determine “fit.” At the second session I will meet with the child in the 40-45 minute block and then meet with parent(s) in the remaining time. This will be the structure for the majority of our time together.

Sometimes parents need to talk outside of regularly scheduled appointments.

I will do my best to return a call for a brief conversation, but not a counseling session. I also ask that parents do not communicate sensitive and confidential information through e-mails.

Counseling appointments are arranged on a weekly basis. If we determine that more frequent sessions are needed, we can discuss this at the time, and as my schedule and your schedule allows.
